Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Hayde Tech Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for the Trachtenberg Kids app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian aged 18+.

1. Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google to create a family account and add kid profiles. You are responsible for your account, for supervising children's use, and for keeping your sign-in secure. You agree to provide accurate information. How we handle personal information — including children's information — is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your family's personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store's terms.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Some content requires a paid auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual). Pricing is shown in the App before you purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions after purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies; we cannot grant refunds directly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: copying, reverse-engineering, or reselling it; interfering with its operation or security; or using it unlawfully.

5. Intellectual property

The App and its content (lessons, artwork, characters, software) are owned by Hayde Tech Ltd or our licensors and are protected by law. The Trachtenberg method itself is a public mathematical technique; our particular lessons, presentation, and software are ours.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" for educational purposes. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will produce any particular learning outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hayde Tech Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Termination & account deletion

You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time. You can permanently delete your account, all kid profiles, and all progress in the App's grown-up area (Settings → Delete account). Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law provides otherwise.
