Trachtenberg Kids helps young learners multiply big numbers in their head using the Trachtenberg "speed math" system. This page answers the most common questions. If you need anything else, email us — we usually reply within 2 business days.

Getting started

Open the app and tap Get started, then sign in with Apple or Google. This creates one family account.
Add a kid profile (name, mascot, and theme). You can add more than one child — each gets their own profile and progress.
Progress syncs across devices when you sign in with the same account.

Free vs Premium

The ×11 trick is free and fully playable.
Trachtenberg Kids Premium unlocks every other trick, all lessons, and the games. It's available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription.

Managing your subscription

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
You can cancel anytime. Subscriptions auto-renew, so to avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
To cancel or change a subscription: on your device open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose Trachtenberg Kids, and tap Cancel.
Restore Purchases: if you reinstall the app or switch devices, open the grown-up area and tap Restore Purchases to re-activate Premium.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The parent PIN

The grown-up area and the purchase screen are protected by a 4-digit parent PIN, so children can't buy anything on their own.
The first time you open the grown-up area you'll be asked to create a PIN.
Forgot your PIN? Tap "Forgot your PIN?" on the PIN screen and solve the short math problem shown to set a new one.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account, all kid profiles, and all progress from inside the app: open the grown-up area and choose Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that separately in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
